I've bought my first bottle 4 years ago, because I had a 2 months trip to southeast Asia and, since I've been there before, I didn't want to buy bottled water. It worked beautifully, so I became a fan. Now I have just purchased 2 more and one home jug. Good stuff!

I love this bottle. Take it everywhere when we go hiking and don't have to carry extra water. Plus, the water from rivers and streams is cold and delicious!

I am travelling overseas and this makes my water safe wherever I go. I love the style and that you can hook it to a belt or backpack. I bought two replacement filters at purchase just in case.

Very well-built and sturdy. The only issue is that it�s heavy. So you face of trade-off between the lighter plastic ones and this heavier one that is stainless steel and will also keep cool things cold.

Water is delicious. Fits into all my backpacks. Straw can pull a little bit once you get it going, it�s really not that bad. Will be taking on all vacations, especially out of the country with different water. Also, I hit this thing all the time so it�s definitely durable. Just remember to open it on a plane to release the pressure. I forgot and made a mess.

Used 4 times on remote fishing trips. Peace of mind that this unit delivers is more than worth the price. Even turbid water transforms to crystal clear color and the taste was far better than I was expecting.

Simple, the water tastes excellent, overall great value. The big downside is that the container isn�t water tight. You can�t transport it with water in it or it will all spill out of the top. That�s a great disadvantage when traveling.

I love everything about this bottle. It has made me want to drink water more. I live in an area where the water is very hard, smells like chlorine and taste horrible. The LifeStraw takes all the metal taste away and makes water enjoyable. I have cut down on purchasing bottled water. LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

Excellent product. I’ve been buying these since 2013. Durable ( bc yes I have butter fingers) clean tasting water. I use this as my everyday bottle. Because yeah who knows what’s in the water. These bottles have been to Zanzibar, Tanzania, Morocco, egypt, Honduras, and all the Caribbean islands!! I have about 5 different ones.

Great. I tried it out in one of the national parks last weekend. It was easy to use, and water tasted fine. The shape is very similar to my everyday bottle that I use. Overall I am very happy with it.

I took this bottle with me hiking the Inca Trail in Peru. Worked great. I didn't necessarily use it to filter out tap water (as Cusco apparently has heavy metals that aren't advisable to drink even with filtration) but felt good having it as a another measure during my hike. NOTE: They aren't kidding that pressure builds up if filled during air travel. Release some pressure as it will pour all over you if you open the straw without doing so.

I feel better about the quality of water I consume while on the go, use it every day!

Works beautifully, looks good, and gives me confidence about what I’m putting in my body. I now have three lifestraw filter products, and am a big fan.

I did a 500 miles thru-hike in 2020. Part of the trail was in cattle country. Water on the ground was as awful as you can imagine. No prior filtering, ground, bottle, my mouth, neither bad nor aftertaste. I didn’t get sick even a bit in 52 days hiking. Two years later, surprise surprise! I’m still alive! I vouch for this bottle!

I take this with me everywhere to cut down on water bottles. I just filter out tap water everywhere I go and I trust this bottle because it actually filters harmful stuff out. Very useful when I was traveling the country in an RV. I never trust tap water, so this is great.

I’ve had this water bottle for a few months now and it is amazing! I’m pretty picky with my water, some tap water just tastes gross haha but with this water bottle you can taste the freshness no matter what water you put in it! I’d say the one downside would be how hard you have to suck to get water through the straw but that’s just the filter working and you get used to it pretty quickly! Overall my favorite water bottle that I own!

Easy to use, and nice knowing I can drink any tap water in safety. Filters well, at least there’s noticeable improvement in taste and water clarity. If it dries out it’s harder to suck so you have to refill it and wait a little I wish the bottle had a more ergonomic design or different handle but I like the caribiner clip. Fits in a standard car cup holder.

Took the bottle for drinking water source for pack in elk hunt. Temperatures fell below freezing and broke a valve at top. Will be switching to another brand.

Arrived quickly and in great condition. They are a Christmas gift so haven’t been used yet.

The LifeStraw Go water bottle is perfect for ensuring I have plenty of filtered water while I'm on the go. I drink more water now when I'm at work. It has also saved me while on road trips and traveling - I don't have to rely on plastic water bottles because I can always filter my water on the go. Very useful tool. The carabiner is convenient too.

Overall, I love this bottle and would purchase again. For some reason the first month or so this bottle kept weeping out of the top. It was soaking surfaces under the bottle just sitting there if I left the top open. For some reason that has stopped. Now it’s perfect! I feel confident with this filtering system that if I really wanted (or needed) to I could go drink pond water and be just fine. This is a must for any survivalist. The bottle itself is also sturdy, as is the ring that comes with a carabiner to help you carry the bottle. The quality is excellent. Would definitely repurchase, and actually will be buying one for my son.

I believe this is a necessary item for people concerned about consuming healthy water. Todays public water is not filtered for microscopic bacteria, fungi or virus. This products filtration system captures these pathogens. Many other products do not provide the micro filtration needed. For anyone with lung or immune issues, please do the research and you too will get this product. I recently traveled and knew I was drinking safe water at each location. I found the bottle easy to refill and carry. I purchased more as gifts. If you are returning to travel, I highly recommend this product to safeguard your health.

This bottle is great! I get migraines from tap water sometimes, but when I drink water through this bottle I do not, which leads me to believe it does a good job filtering.

I like that I don't have to buy as much bottled water for work. Things that could be improved. I wish that it were slimmer in the center for an easier grip. Also, if it were taller and slimmer, it would fit in cup holders. I feel like I have to suck on it pretty hard to get the water out. I am a little worried that could affect my bite/teeth. I've had my bottle for a couple of months.

My idea of hiking is to clamber down the upper branches of a certain mountain. It is truly marvelous to drink that river water!

I love knowing that my water is clean and purified before I drink it. Gives me peace of mind.

I feel safe knowing that wherever I am, the water I drink will be safe from bacteria and most chemicals. The only downside I can see is it takes a little more effort to suck on the straw using this filter.

I bought 8 life straws to take a troop of Girl Scouts on a backpacking trip. They LOVED them. There was a only a lake at the campsite and they were perfect for our needs.

The vent in the cap makes a very irritating noise while drinking from the bottle when the rubber stop is in place. Without it, the bottle leaks when laid on its side.

For $55 or so shipped, it is a disappointment. Simply put, you can't lay it on its side without it leaking, as it did in my motorcycle saddlebags. As a result it limits your carry options. On the upside the carabiner is good and sturdy - would sure hate to have had it fall off the bike somewhere in Alaska and never be found again!

I bought two of these so my daughter could have one as well. In these days of cancel culture and zombie thinking or non-thinking, we do t k ow what’s around the next bend but we’ll have clean water.

I’ve used a Brita for as long as I can remember but I since moving into my newest apartment I noticed that I taste chlorine in the filtered brita water. The finished water from my LifeStraw bottle tastes wonderful! I use it everyday. It’s especially nice when traveling so I don’t have to buy disposable plastic bottles to get good water! It can be a little hard to suck from the straw but that’s because it’s filtering so well I guess. I plan on buying a glass pitcher for my kitchen as soon as their are back in stock! My only grievance is that I wish LifeStraw did some sort of reuse/recycle program for their filters so that it would be a little bit more waste conscious.

We have used it for our Epic tour of 7 NPs during 7-8/2021. It works so great: we can fill up with any water: lake, water falls, river!

We have a filter on the incoming water line for years. I have always felt safe because of it. Never realized how much the pipes themselves were adding to the water. The taste of the water is so clean less metallic with Life Straw. Now I am always refilling the pitcher in the refrigerator, the cats drinking fountain and the kettle with the Life Straw pitcher.

Used it a couple of times at amusement parks to filter the nasty water they had available. Worked great.

I used it when i went traveling to Colombia. I would just get tap water and run it through the bottle and never have to worry about getting sick. I also used it the airport at sinks because at the time due to Covid all the water dispensaries were out of service. All in all, absolutely worth it.

Took 4 of these bottles out to a scout ranch in New Mexico, dipped them into the stream and drank the water using no other filter and the water tasted fine. Even had some sediment at the bottom of the bottle when empty. The filter works as stated in the product description. Will buy more to add to what i have when I am backpacking in the coming years

I purchased 2 LifeStraw Go bottles for a trip to Costa Rica and my husband and I absolutely love them! They were terrific for our trip, with the included carabiner we were able to easily snap them to our day packs so they were always at hand as we traveled around. Even though the public water throughout Costa Rica is very safe LifeStraw still gave us the peace of mind that if we did need to drink water from a waterfall while out hiking we absolutely could do so with no hesitation. Of course we will continue to use our LifeStraw bottles at home and on future trips where ever that may take us. Thank you LifeStraw for your amazing products!

I use this mostly to reduce dependence on bottled water when I cannot access boiled water, which I usually drink I find the flow rate a little slow and drinking effortful which can result in less hydration- I guess the filter causes that. Also I like to dry the filter between uses and am sometimes surprised at how long it retains water

Excellent product with great customer service backing it up! I travel a lot and don’t have access to pure water when I’m traveling outside of buying single use plastic bottles. This is the perfect thing to refill in airports, public restroom sinks, people’s kitchen sinks, anywhere you can get water… I can’t tell you how much plastic and money I’ve saved using this thing the past 2 years. In addition, my stomach is very sensitive to chlorine or bacteria in the water, so being able to drink all my water through the life straw filter is a huge blessing for me. Would highly recommend! If you plan to store it in between uses, I’d also recommend looking through the storage procedures, as they are not listed in the user manual and I did it wrong the first time and ruined my first filter. The company was nice enough to send me a second one free of charge, which I very much appreciated!

I just started using this bottle and put it in my purse while driving when I got home my purse was soaking wet. Very disappointing as this is not a cheap bottle

This bottle has permanent defect. I have checked many bottles its water leak from the bottle cap vent hole.

I purchased the lifestraw bottle to keep wight off my kayak for a 3 day stay on the current river. I trusted my life with this bottle and drank from the stream for three days. The water was so good that when I got back, I tried normal water at a restaurant and spit it out. I will not drink water from any other source again!

This is a fantastic filter & purifier! It's so convenient and lightweight. I'm avid backpacker and this works perfectly for my backpacking trips. It's an easy, no mess, no hassle way to filter your water. I used to use purifying tablets, but it left an aftertaste. I love LifeStraw's filtering system so much better. I highly recommend this product!

I've had 2 of these water bottles and I use them daily all day. I want to love them, but it's more like love/hate. I'm often on the go and love that I have a water bottle with a filter so I always have clean water available. However, the water bottle must stay upright or it leaks. And, after a few months of use it starts leaking from the top, even if it isn't tipped over. So, unsuspecting you will pick up your water bottle to take a sip and the water collecting on the top of your bottle is now all over you or your stuff. I think next I'll try either the stainless steel or the child's bottle.

I'm not a camper or hiker but I won this at a raffle at work and I absolutely love it! I compared this to my Brita filter and it's night and day! The water is clean and crisp. I plan on purchasing a LifeStraw Pitcher soon!!!
