How do I know when it's time to change my filters?

The membrane microfilter lasts up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 liters). Water will no longer pull through once the filter has reached the end of its lifetime. The carbon filter lasts up to 26 gallons (100 liters) – which is about 2 months of use. We recommend replacing this filter when you start to notice a change in the smell or taste of your water.
