Happy in general with the purchase
Positive:
- it’s a glass pitcher not a plastic one, less (micro)plastics
- nice design
- water tastes good
- 2 filters, membrane microfilter
+ activated carbon/ion exchange filter, Lifestraw claims to filter more than most other filters (however it’s impossible to verify this claim)
Negative
- the lid broke with the first time of cleaning, it’s suposed to come of to clean i guess? But it broke and no spare lids available, i have to by an entire new pitcher,…
-the 7 cup pitcher should fit in the door of a fridge? Maybe in American fridges, not inEurooean fridges! I had to take a shelf out wiyh lots of space loss. I Would realy prefer a smaller pitcher or less high
- the first encluded filter was very slow! 15 minutes for 1 glass of water. Purchased replacement filters where much faster (I read about this issue before)
- the replacement filter YEAR PACK is not available sinds april 2025 in Europe! I had to buy more expensive single filters. When will they be available again??
I like the fact it can filter a lot with the dual filter system, but I would prefer a smaller glass version and more spare parts available
I like it. But I hate that it’s so tall that it can’t fit under the tap to fill it up. So frustrating that I need to fill a bottle to fill it up. Also bummed that the whole filter section is plastic. But otherwise, it’s nice to have a glass outer I suppose
I'm trying to eliminate plastic as much as possible & this pitcher is a good start. The design of it is modern:heart: & it doesn't take up a lot of room in the fridge. Now, I don't taste chlorination anymore.:heart:
the filter membrane that came with it wasn't working.It took hours to fill it but customer service sent fast a new one after i told them, so, great service. The filtering works well now.
Water tastes great. Delivery went fast and smooth. I am delighted with the product and the performance of LifeStraw. I love that the jug is made out of glass. Easy to use daily.
I like it , i was full of toxins and microplastics. I had my blood filtered and i will use this for all my cooking and drinking needs. I also purchase the go bottle and use it on the go
I have been using the classic Brita filters and then came across Lifestraw. Has been a game changer for the. The water taste has vastly improved for me.
Have bought one for my mother and she also loves it.
Unfortunately the filtering system doesn’t work well. It takes over 30 min to 1 hour to get a glass of water. The Lifestraw customer support doesn’t respond..

I’ve been looking for a water carafe for a long time, but I didn’t want plastic, and I simply can’t afford a full reverse osmosis system. LifeStraw turned out to be the perfect solution.
It filters out the worst contaminants, including PFAS and microplastics, and the difference is immediately noticeable. I’ve always drunk tap water — it tastes fine where I live — but it still had a kind of “suspended” texture. After filtering the same water through this carafe, it feels completely different: crystal clear, light, almost like water from a mountain spring.
I finally feel confident about the quality of the water I drink every day. Simple, effective, and well designed. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
J'ai pris le LifeStraw Home 7-Cup Glass qui est arrivé bien emballé. J'ai regardé la vidéo sur le site de comment mettre en route le système de filtrage et j'y suis arrivée assez facielement. Effectivement, comme dit dans d'autres revues, le système de filtrage est lent et même très lent mais je prépare mon eau en avance que je mets dans une jolie bouteille; et je mets les bouteilles sur le rebord de la fenêtre, ce qui permet à l'eau de se dynamiser.

However as we are located in Europe it seems like the refill of the filters is not at all available through your webshop.
Could you give indication when carbon filters will be available again.
Also we originally wanted to buy a white pitcher, however also this glass version seemed to be out of stock...
The filtration process requires some patience, but the result worth it. I love the design and quality as well, but the volume is just enough for 1 person with not so high water consumption requirements :) If you hydrate a lot, probably it's better to consider bigger dispenser.
