After 3 months of use, I still can't get rid of the disagreeable taste. It isn't easy to drink from when not full, and you can't access the last 20%, so you are carrying around dead weight when hiking. Sorry, but generally frustrating and very unsatisfactory.

LifeStraw Peak Series Collapsible Squeeze 650 ml Bottle with Filter

The filter works well, is compact and light. When the filter is mounted inside the bag the bag can not properly be squeezed for filtering. Hence the filter works better when screwed onto to bag, which is an acceptable additional step considering the compact design. However, a bag design which avoids glue between the silicone bag and its plastic cap would be much appreciated. A design with the filter mounted as a mouthpiece on a drinking bladder without glued parts would be best.
