I was wondering to give this a 5 star review, I was surprised that filtering was so slow, but mostly better have quality of water over filtration speed, and my view is anecdotal. And now that I have used to it, it seems sometimes to be even (even surprisingly) fast.

I am so pleased with the filter system. The customer service was excellent.

It makes tap water tasteless and odorless. I love it because there is less plastic waste than buying so many bottles and jugs of water every week. Love mine and am getting one as a gift for my sister.

I just wanted to write a quick review on my filter. I purchased this filter about 2 months ago. I cannot drink bottled water for some reason, it just doesn't sit well with me. So I decided to buy a filter staition for the house and just fill up my personal water bottles. I'm good to drink 2 glasses of water before I even have my 1st cup of coffee. Followed by multiple throughout the day. This this water filter has been more than sufficient for me and my family. It's also a charming addition to my counter counter, not much of an eye sore. lol My son sent it crashing to the floor, which you can see in the photo. I will be going today to grab another one. I liked it that much!!!

Shipping was on time and packing was well done. I used tap water to filter and tested the water before and after using the pitcher filter system. The results using a ppm test tool did not show much of a difference using the tool.

I noticed a difference right away in the taste of my water after using the pitcher...amazing! This truly is the best filtered water I've ever had. I did have a lot of trouble installing the filter and was instructed to use a knife to remove the bottom plastic piece. I did slightly damage the casing. Hopefully going forward it will be easier to change the filters!

I have been nothing but happy with my selection of the 7cup pitcher. I was wary while it was shipping because I read a few reviews talking about how slow it fills, but after set up and the first few initial rounds of water to get the filters going (and there’s a warning the first couple take a little longer to filter) it fills smoothly! The design is classy and cute and I’ve already had friends asking where I got it. Im excited to be able to stop buying water and finally have found a filter system that makes my tap water drinkable.

I love our pitcher so much. It makes a big difference in taste, so I know it's working. That said, it is very slow. It's become part of my job to fill it whenever I'm in the kitchen so that there's enough water when the kids want some. I still would highly recommend, but know that going in.

I love my new water pitcher…of course I can’t tell if it REALLY is blocking lead and micro plastics… but I will assume at this point that it does block lead and plastic… will be ordering more filters soon… only complaint is not having an 800 # to be able to ask a question to a real person… some questions about which filters to reorder

Straw Home 7 -Cup is beautiful, I can nearly fill up the filter and then pour filtered water immediately without mixing in the unfiltered water. The water tastes so much better than other filtering systems. I avoid using expensive bottled water that clogs the planet with plastic and unconscionably drains our aquifers. I appreciate purchasing products from an American business, and appreciate the water filter donation mission.

I was hugely concerned when I saw how slow it was after rinsing the filter. It doesn’t stay that way, it speeds up. LifeStraw should mention that in the instructions. You do have to add water a few times for a full container, but that’s why it’s so visually appealing as well, so I’m fine with the trade-off as it will be sitting in view. It filters faster at the beginning if you submerge and soak the round filter for an hour+, then do the minute faucet rinse. Install and you’re perfect! Love the quality and attention to detail of the product, and that it removes microplastics. Men, sperm rates have fallen by 50% worldwide since the introduction of Tupperware, and they affect female hormones as well. It’s a top notch filtration system, I have one for the house, one for work.

The size and design are ideal for my limited counterspace. The assembly is easy. The filtered water tastes fresh and is rejuvenating. (I drink it at room temperature and use it for my hot tea)

I love this pitcher. It is beautiful, pours easily and the water tastes great.

Once the setup process is finished, it's very easy to fill/re-fill. I especially like the size and shape which fits great in the fridge! It's all really very handy. The plastic was the right choice, since the water itself is heavy. I'm very happy with my purchase!

We moved to a new town....terrible tasting water. I started searching for a fix and found Lifestraw. I like their mission so decided to give the 10c pitcher a try. Great drinking water right away, that problem was solved, but my pitcher started leaking and I was very disappointed. I reached out to customer service and the ywent over and above what I would expect. Buy this product with confidence.

Great pitcher! Our local drinking water is heavily chlorinated, but there's no trace of that after filtering through this picture..

We are very happy with our Life Straw water jug. It has removed the sulfur smell of our well water and the water tastes great!

It is a little heavy when full, but I think that’s due to the filter, so it’s not a problem for me if it is clearing the bacteria as I need it to.

I love my new LifeStraw pitcher! It’s removing the PFOS that we recently heard was in our water and I love the design of the pitcher.

This is a great countertop system. My only piece of feedback concerns the initial setup and first filtering of water. It took much longer than described or expected to filter water through the first time. I suggest that this be mentioned in the instructions so that we know we're on the right track in installing and beginning usage.

II love this product! It's smart, savvy, easy to use and works very quickly for a gravity-fed water filter. I have the Berkey filtration system but am staying in a hotel right now and the LifeStraw Pitcher is perfect for this setting. It doesn't take up as much room, is lightweight, and also, is much easier and faster to clean. I am very, very happy with my LifeStraw purchase! :) :) :)

Easy to use. Very happy with purchase. I do have a suggestion: add a feature that tells you when you need to change the filter. I use the pitcher for more than drinking water. So I have had to estimate my usage in order to determine when to change the filter.

I received a new life straw under warranty due to the fact that my old one developed cracks and was leaking a lot after not having it for very long. Now, I have had this new pitcher for around three weeks and it has already developed cracks and a leak again. I am disappointed with this product

My water in Tulsa OK is really bad. When I went out looking for a counter top water filter this one really stood out, plus I really support their mission. Very happy with water quality and my purchase.

The only cons about this is — the filtering takes forever and there’s no indication light for when the filter should be changed. Make sure to mark in down on your calendar somewhere. I recently purchased the pitcher from target after wanting one for 5 months or so. I couldn’t believe how awful my city’s regular water tasted when I did a taste test comparison. I will not be going back to unfiltered water! Overall this is a great product. I definitely like that it filters out more than the average pitcher.

I bought the LifeStraw filter pitcher for my daughter, who had requested a GLASS pitcher. She received it timely and was and is pleased with it.

This is a nice, easy to use design that filters quickly and provides really great-tasting water from mediocre-tasting tap water. I especially like how many different pollutants the filters are rated for removing, which is one of the main reasons I chose this over other products on the market. Lead, micro-plastics, and dissolved pharmaceuticals are three that I wanted to be able to reduce levels of. I opted for the glass pitcher to reduce the amount of plastic involved. The silicone base add-on was a good idea that I would recommend given the size and weight of a fully filled pitcher. It helps to cushion the bottom of the pitcher and makes it slightly grippy. I've only had this for about a month, so I can't speak to longevity of the design, but I haven't had any issues or complaints so far. The only mildly annoying aspect is that you can't fill the whole pitcher at once with a single fill of the filter reservoir. This is unavoidable with this kind of design: the reservoir has a smaller volume than the filter portion of the pitcher, and being a passive (non-pressurized) system, water only filters until the water height equalizes between the inside of the filter reservoir and the outside portion of the pitcher. Not a big deal since it filters quickly (a few minutes per fill, at most). I just top off the pitcher most times I use it and it's not been an issue. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and would heartily recommend it to others.

Works great, I started with one of their water bottles and finally bought a pitcher for my house.

Bought one for our house and we loved it so much, purchased another for our college age daughter to use in her dorm room. Excellent design, easy to understand how to use it, with both the written and videos on the LifeStraw website. The water is clear, pure, and delicious. Many of us suffer from kidney problems in our home and have to drink upwards to one gallon of watery daily, and this is an excellent way to maintain good health and to help a good cause, as well. It's a win-win situation for all. The pitcher has a sleek design and looks elegant in my kitchen.

My jug cracked within the first few days of having it.

I drink water all day while at work, tap water out of the refrigerator was the only filtered water available. It was hard to drink my daily intake since the water tasted so bad.. I get compliments on my new pitcher, and the water tastes amazing. No problems getting my daily intake now, I am going to buy one for my house too.

I chose the LifeStraw Home after searching the internet for a water filter in a glass container. It's attractively designed and can easily be brought to the dining room table. Smart rubber base avoids chance of breakage by setting the pitcher on our slate counter. Also LifeStraw's Give Back Program is commendable.

I like the glass carafe and the filter works fine and relieves my concerns about water-borne contaminants. I do find the replacement filters rather expensive.

We bought the 10 cup pitcher - we love it though we realized we probably didn't need the bigger size. We never quite fill it up all the way because it gets too heavy. I almost want the handle to be bigger so it's more ergonomic. But overall, we're loving it! It's a nice step up from our Brita pitcher. We hated the huge filters so this is a great upgrade. The white color is really sleek and minimalist and the silicone base makes it even cooler. We feel more reassured about the quality and safety of the water we're drinking.

Love my LifeStraw Home!!!! I love the design and the water tastes great but mostly I love that you can pour from it after just filling it and the water that is not yet filtered doesn’t come through with the filtered water.

The pitcher is the perfect size and the water tastes delicious. We noticed a distinct improvement in our coffee and tea. It feels good to support water for a child for a year. I am concerned though about the plastic filters and wonder if there is a recycling program?

I’ve been a fan of Lifestraw for a few years. This year for thanksgiving my family got together at an estate in a vineyard where we were a bit concerned about water quality.
